Description
We celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Kiel underground legend NO MORE with the release of the compilation “Love, Noise & Paranoia”.

NO MORE founded the band in 1979, when punk and new wave swept away the 70's, disbanded in 1986 when the 80's were too 80's. They come back at the end of 2008, concentrated on the duo Tina Sanudakura and Andy Schwarz. They tour all over Europe, do not rest on old laurels, produce new albums and venture into new realms. Or as the West put it: "... impressive how you can develop without denying the roots of yourself."

The existentialist "All Is Well - Senza Macchia" underlines the Dortmund crime scene "Hydra" and "Turnaround", the instant classic from the last album, ensures full dance floors. Already in 2009 the London Playground Magazine wrote: "It's always impressive when a band go full circle and have the presence of mind to use the music of those they've influenced to re-invirogate their own sound."

That is also why “Love, Noise & Paranoia” spans the arc from the beginning to the present and presents both new and original versions as well as unpublished old and new songs. NO MORE were and are always on the move.

Sometimes minimalistically electronic, sometimes opulent wide screen, sometimes driving post-punk, sometimes ambient. "Inside 1979" outlines the social environment from 1977, from which NO MORE 1979 finally emerges. "Outlook: cloudy. As always, the wind comes from the front”. In “Quiet Days On Celluloid” you look back on your own youth. Recall their "oriental" phase with a current version of "Istanbul" and at the same time create a reference to the now. They pay homage to The Fall with "What About Us?" And tackle the transgender theme with the almost 20-year-old "A Different Kind Of Woman".

NO MORE are permanently on the road and are simultaneously working on a new album. Not for nothing was her penultimate "Sisyphus" called.
